The main problem I’ve been having with this phone is the compatibility with my Nettalk Duo hookup. I get static, sometimes no busy signals, etc. I then have to reset everything and things will be ok for awhile. The system held up well, and we only needed to replace the three rechargeable batteries four times. One cradle came in defective and Vtech was good in replacing the whole set even though I only needed the cradle. Also the handset will do weird things – like stating I have a phone message when the base says that I have zero messages. A feature that I really appreciate on these phones is the call blocking. Also, in setting it up as well as in use, it repeatedly throws the intercom option at you–which, shock! Can’t be backed out of–and I don’t have any interest in using one phone to call another inside the house, so I don’t know why they keep pushing that. Harder to read and no volume control button on the the side that could be used while still holding the phone to the ear while talking to someone, a function I used frequently.
